When I mention that I can edit something for you, I don’t mean that I will remove a comma here and there or check your spelling. When I say edit, I mean edit! In some instances, there won’t need to be much done, but in others, there will. I won’t exactly change things (not without your knowledge or permission, in which case I may send you two edited copies of the same project, one with suggestions, one that is properly edited without my suggestions). I might tell you that you should change paragraphs, add something here and there, remove some things, etc. I would leave that up to you as it is your project. Here is an example:
That is an example of a lightly edited project (this is not an essay, but it serves the purpose that I am attempting to show when I say that something will be edited). I have used something of my own that an author has edited so as not to use anyone else’ work without their permission.
